Core Undergraduate Data Science Curriculum

All undergraduates in one of the following data science programs share a common set of core data science courses which include courses such as Introduction to Data Science (STT 180), Scientific Modeling (CMSE 201), Tools for Scientific Modeling (CMSE202), Programming in C++ (CSE 232), Applied Liner Algebra (MTH314) and The Data Science Capstone Course (CMSE 495).  The main difference between these program tracks are the elective courses that students choose to take.
