MSU offers support for research and projects in data science.
MSU Libraries

The Digital Scholrship Lab
The Digital Scholarship Lab is a 10,000-square-foot space in the Main Library, which
features a 360-degree immersive visualization room that accommodates up to 15 students,
along with a Virtual Reality room for experimentation with VR headsets. The DSL includes
dedicated lab space and informal gathering areas to facilitate cross-disciplinary
collaboration. Students and researchers in any major may use the advanced and graphics-intensive
computing software and interactive visualization for research projects and scholarly
exploration.
Center for Statistical Training and Consulting (CSTAT)
Professional service and research unit at Michigan State University. CSTAT collaborates on research projects and provides statistical support and services to MSU affiliated faculty, staff, graduate students, and off-campus clients.
Institute for Cyber Enabled Research (ICER)
The ICER team connects researchers in academia and industry with advanced computational systems and tools. They offer multidisciplinary research in all facets of computational and data science by providing access to training, consulting, hardware and software infrastructure solutions.
ITS Analytics and Data Solutions group
BI & Analytics team empowers proactive, data-driven decision-making through cutting-edge technology and services. They provide enterprise reporting, analytics, and visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, and IBM Cognos, enabling informed choices across the organization.
